Coordination mechanisms for ensuring victim-oriented approaches during pre-trial investigations and court proceedings in Ukraine

The article is devoted to the analysis of interagency coordination mechanisms as a key factor in the implementation of a victim-oriented approach in the criminal justice system of Ukraine. It examines the roles of key actors — investigators, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, social services and civil society organisations — and the need for coordinated interaction between them to ensure the safety, dignity and psychological support of victims. The article emphasises that effective coordination is not only a technical aspect of the work of the authorities, but also an important indicator of Ukraine’s fulfilment of its European integration commitments in the field of human rights protection.
