The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated the personnel composition of the Interagency Working Group on ensuring the negotiation process for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU law. Changes were also made to the composition of working groups preparing Ukraine’s negotiating positions for relevant negotiation chapters.
Taras Kachka noted that the updated structure will ensure effective coordination of all government bodies involved in the EU negotiation process. The main task is timely preparation of Ukraine’s positions and a high level of readiness for the next stages of negotiations. Interagency Working Group meetings will be held at least once every three months, with organizational support provided by the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
