The handover took place during a meeting on the sidelines of the EU General Affairs Council.
On 17 March in Brussels, the Ukrainian delegation, led by the Chief Negotiator and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Taras Kachka, received from the European Commission the conditions for closing Clusters 3 ‘Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth’, 4 ‘Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity’ and 5 ‘Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion Policy’. Thus, Ukraine now has the full set of conditions required for EU accession.
“Today we have received a comprehensive list of exactly what Ukraine needs to do within the clusters, and now the focus is on the practical work involved in meeting these requirements. In a sense, this marks a new stage in the negotiation process, as Ukraine now has a clear understanding of what the EU Member States expect of it,” said Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka.
