The participants focused their discussions on the status of implementation of roadmaps on the rule of law, the functioning of democratic institutions, public administration reform, and the action plan for the protection of the rights of persons belonging to national minorities (communities) in Ukraine. On September 9, Ukraine submitted its first report on the status of implementation of these acts to the European Commission.

The consultations took place from October 20 to 24 with the participation of representatives of more than 40 state authorities, including key ministries and agencies involved in the implementation of transformation documents, the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor’s office, and members of the Parliament of Ukraine.
