The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Procedure for Responding to Cases of Discrimination on the Basis of Gender. The document defines a clear mechanism for considering appeals, interaction between responsible bodies, and reporting on the results of their consideration.

The new procedure establishes:

• general approaches to considering complaints of gender discrimination;
• the procedure for submitting such complaints and the requirements for their preparation;
• the mechanism for informing applicants about the progress and results of the consideration;
• the form of annual reporting to the National Social Service of Ukraine.
