According to the High Council of Justice, 73 out of 85 candidates, or almost 86%, advanced to the next stage.
Thus, there will be 3.2 candidates per vacant position of a High Council of Justice judge, which is a significantly better result compared to the previous competition, where there were 0.3 candidates per position.
Each participant in the competition completed two tasks of two different types. The first type consisted of writing a judgment by a judge of first instance, and the second — a ruling based on the results of a review of the judgment by a judge of the appellate court. Each task was scored out of 75 points (150 points in total). The passing score was 75% or 112.5 points. Lawyers who passed all stages of the exam will be screened by the Public Council of International Experts.
