Ukraine has a chance to move forward in negotiations on EU accession

The decision taken by the EU, which has unblocked the technical start of accession negotiations with Kyiv, gives Ukraine the chance to quickly open and close negotiation clusters as soon as Hungary’s veto ceases to be an obstacle to the official procedure

On 11 December, Ukraine was provided with all the data necessary for Kyiv to continue technical negotiations with the European Commission on three clusters. This allows Ukraine to start doing its ‘homework’ on each of them right away, without wasting any time.
