The article analyzes the current state of justice system reform in Ukraine, focusing on the lack of a unified state strategy and problems with staffing the courts. The author discusses the gap between formal compliance with European integration requirements and the actual practices of law enforcement agencies and judicial institutions. The focus is on the consequences of chaotic appointments, underfunding of the system, and a lack of ethical standards, which hinder the establishment of a sustainable rule of law.
